Five students are representing Kuwait at the Ahmad Al-Farghani International Physics Olympiad in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Education announced on 10 October, according to Kuwait News Agency.
The competition runs from 10–17 October 2026. The ministry said participation is intended to encourage scientific excellence and give students experience of international competition.
The delegation comprises Sarah Mirza from American Creativity Academy; Ali Ismail and Abdulhameed Ali from The British School in Kuwait; Bushra Al-Qanaei from Fatima Al-Saraawi High School; and Jassem Al-Sallal from Sulaiman Abu Ghosh High School.
The announcement marks their participation in the competition; no results or medal awards were reported.
