Kuwaiti charitable organisations have outlined medical, education and livelihood programmes supporting communities overseas, in a Kuwait News Agency report published on 10 October.

The International Islamic Charitable Organization said its year-long sponsorship programme in Sudan would support 100 vulnerable families. The initiative prioritises households facing hardship, including those headed by women and families with elderly or disabled members.

In Chad, Al-Najat Charity Society reported 400 eye operations across three medical camps for local patients and Sudanese refugees. Namaa Charity reported treatment and nutrition support for more than 350 malnourished children in Yemen and school supplies for 150 students in Gaza.

The roundup also described Namaa’s eye-care, water and livelihood initiatives in India. These figures are those reported by the organisations to KUNA.
