Business France has announced plans to lead a French trade delegation to Web Summit Qatar 2027, with a dedicated pavilion for companies, investors and partners.
The announcement came during the Paris stop of the Runway to Web Summit Qatar promotional series, according to Qatar News Agency’s 6 October report. Qatar’s Government Communications Office and its embassy in France organised the gathering.
More than 100 Qatari and French representatives, investors and entrepreneurs attended, with discussions covering technology cooperation and opportunities for businesses to explore new markets.
QNA reported that the planned delegation will include Mistral AI, LVMH and Bpifrance. The pavilion is intended to give French startups a place to present their work and connect with the wider technology community.
Web Summit Qatar is scheduled for 31 January to 3 February 2027 in Doha, dates confirmed by the organiser. Following Paris, the promotional roadshow is due to continue to Berlin, Düsseldorf and Stockholm.
