Bahrain’s youth cycling team has won two gold medals at the 2026 Arab Cycling Championships in Damascus, according to Bahrain News Agency’s 9 October report.

Abdulaziz Al Hamri took the individual time-trial title, while Mohammed Hassan Jawad won the individual road race. Bahrain Cycling Association chairman Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa welcomed the returning medallists.

The championship programme runs from 2 to 13 October. The report celebrates the Bahraini riders’ completed results; it does not mark the conclusion of the entire competition.

The association linked the achievement to continuing support for young riders through Bahrain’s Golden Generation programme.
