Bahrain opened the Made in GCC Forum and Exhibition 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain on 6 October, bringing the region’s industrial capabilities and manufacturing ambitions into focus.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister launched the event on behalf of the King, according to the Crown Prince’s official website. He highlighted the importance of industrial cooperation across the Gulf, innovation and adapting to technological change.

A panel examined the future of industry and energy in GCC countries, including the role of technology and sustainability. The accompanying exhibition presented industrial products, technologies and solutions, alongside initiatives in advanced and sustainable manufacturing.

Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro described the gathering as a platform connecting governments, manufacturers, investors and financing institutions.

The forum aims to strengthen regional supply chains and industrial partnerships, attract investment and create more opportunities for GCC products in regional and international markets. These are the event’s stated objectives, rather than announced commercial outcomes.
