IIFA says more than 100 film personalities, filmmakers, music artists and performers will take part in its 27th Weekend & Awards on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on 22 and 23 January 2027.
The 4 November announcement sets out an expanded roster for the Etihad Arena event. It follows the organisers’ earlier Mumbai launch and the opening of ticket sales.
Expanded roster
Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, Ananya Panday, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Nora Fatehi appear in the organisers’ announced hosts-and-performers line-up.
The wider list also includes Ram Charan, Rani Mukerji, Vicky Kaushal, A. R. Rahman, Anil Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, Anupam Kher and Mrunal Thakur, alongside other film-industry figures. The announcement does not assign every named attendee an individual performance slot.
IIFA co-founder Andre Timmins described the planned scale as an opportunity to bring different parts of the film industry together. The attendance figure and line-up remain the organisers’ announced plans for the upcoming event.
Two days at Etihad Arena
The Digital Awards are scheduled for 22 January, followed by the main IIFA Awards on 23 January. Official booking information is available for the Digital Awards and IIFA Awards.
