Shorages is bringing quick-commerce delivery to non-grocery brands in the UAE through Q-Com, a service designed for businesses selling through their own websites and connected social-commerce channels. According to the company, eligible orders can reach customers within 30 minutes from pickup, after the products have been prepared for dispatch.
The service brings storage, inventory management, picking, packing and delivery coordination into one operation. Brands can use their existing sales channels and maintain their direct relationship with customers while Shorages manages the fulfilment process behind each order.
Q-Com is aimed at categories including beauty and cosmetics, fashion and accessories, sports products, toys and gifts. The practical use cases extend beyond groceries: a replacement accessory, a last-minute present or a personal-care item needed before an evening out.
Shorages says the service can be applied selectively to eligible orders alongside standard delivery options. Merchants therefore do not need to make every purchase a rapid-delivery order. Product availability, delivery coverage and the customer’s location remain relevant when deciding which orders can use the service.
The company’s Dubai quick-commerce service operates from its fulfilment centre and covers surrounding zones. Its published service information says delivery times depend on the distance from the warehouse, with customer locations assessed against coverage before a merchant begins offering the option.
For independent brands, the approach offers another way to combine online sales with local fulfilment. The operational question is whether speed suits the product and purchasing occasion, while keeping delivery costs and the wider customer experience manageable.
Shorages also provides warehousing, B2C and B2B fulfilment, marketplace fulfilment, returns management and cross-border shipping, with operations in Dubai and Riyadh. Further details about Q-Com are available in the company’s published service overview.
