Avli by tashas Bahrain will introduce The Med Set on Friday, 16 October 2026, bringing a weekly sharing-style lunch, drinks packages and live DJ sets to Bahrain Harbour.
Running every Friday from 1pm to 5pm, the new experience takes its inspiration from Athenian social dining and the Mediterranean courtyard tradition. Guests can choose indoor seating or the terrace overlooking the harbour and Manama skyline.
A menu made for sharing
The meal begins with dips and salads, including tzatziki, tirokafteri with feta and roasted red peppers, and Greek salad. Mezedes include phyllo-wrapped feta saganaki with honey and thyme.
Main dishes include slow-roasted chicken kontosouvli with pita, gemista with herb rice and feta, and the day’s grilled fish with lemon butter. Greek fries and broccolini accompany the mains, followed by desserts including sokolatopita and ekmek kataifi.
Josper-grilled tomahawk and prawns saganaki are available at an additional charge.
Three drinks packages
- BHD 36 — non-alcoholic: juices, soft drinks and zero-proof cocktails.
- BHD 45 — house: spirits, wines and cocktails.
- BHD 65 — premium: spirits, wines, cocktails and Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut champagne.
The restaurant says its resident DJ will accompany the afternoon, with the music building from a relaxed lunch setting into a livelier atmosphere.
