Saudi Arabia’s Cultural Development Fund has signed an agreement with Rotana Media Group to support films and television series with a combined production value exceeding SAR39 million.
Announced by Saudi Press Agency on October 5, the agreement covers projects across social comedy, drama and action, with Saudi actors expected to feature.
The initiative aims to expand opportunities for local screen talent and strengthen the country’s production sector.
According to the announcement, the supported projects are expected to create 68 job opportunities and attract private-sector contributions of more than SAR12 million.
